We recently had some inquiries and questions regarding this lovely English, burled wood bathroom vanity. So we've decided to address some of them
First, "burled wood" is not a particular Species, rather it's defect or damaged/stressed tree that creates Burs or Burls, rounded protrusions on the outside of the tree trunk or branches. These Burrs or Burls are filled with small knots from dormant buds, thus resulting in unique and distinctive wood grains.
Second, Why is it so expensive? As every Burl or Burr is unique and rare burled wood is widely sought after for woodworking.and high end furniture pieces.
I look forward to more questions as we continue our interior design exploration.
Good Day and have some fun!
